Can anyone with the link see my trip?
No. The link does not make the trip public. Only the trip owner and eligible current friends can open it. Everyone else sees a private message without the destination or dates.
Can strangers browse my travel plans?
No. Upcoming destinations and dates are not collected in a public travel feed, and strangers cannot browse your plans.
Does private trip sharing use my live location?
No. Crossing Paths uses only the cities and dates that people choose to add. It does not use live or background location tracking.
Can I share a tentative trip?
Yes. Current friends can see that the trip is tentative, but it will not be used for overlap checks until you confirm it.
