Friends shouldn’t miss the chance to meet again.
Crossing Paths helps friends who live far apart notice when the places and dates they choose to share happen to overlap.
The plan that was hard to keep
The idea came from repeatedly making the same plan with friends before going separate ways: we’ll meet again.
Months later, the intention was still there, but following through meant keeping up with everyone’s cities and dates across messages and social platforms. That simply wasn’t realistic.
The friendship wasn’t the problem. Coordinating the next meeting was.
A quieter way to follow through
Crossing Paths was created to make that coordination easier. Add your upcoming trips and the app compares them with plans your friends have chosen to share. If the city and dates overlap, it lets you know while there’s still time to meet.
You don’t need to broadcast every trip or remember to check in with everyone months later. Crossing Paths quietly pays attention on your behalf.
Not another social platform
Crossing Paths isn’t a social platform or another digital nomad community. There’s no public travel feed, no strangers to discover, and nothing designed to keep you scrolling.
The app has one focused job: notice a real opportunity for friends to meet, then get out of the way. The useful part happens in person.
Sharing stays intentional
Crossing Paths compares only the places and dates you choose to add. It doesn’t use live or background location tracking.
Basic profile information is public so people you know can find you. Trip details are available only to accepted friends, and private trip links don’t reveal destinations or dates to anyone else.
You can decide whether your email and Instagram are public or friends-only. Phone numbers remain friends-only, and you can restrict specific people from seeing your trips or receiving overlap notifications involving you.
Still improving
Crossing Paths is actively improving. The commitment is simple: listen closely, treat shared information with care, and keep the product focused on helping friends meet again.
If something doesn’t support that purpose, it doesn’t belong here.
Ready when you are
Find out before the trip, not after.
Add the trips you’re already taking. We’ll let you know when a friend’s shared plans overlap with yours.
